You're pulling out the classic of classics here, nice one. Stairway to heaven tomorrow then 😉

I definitely could do. Did you ever hear mastodons cover/tribute of that song?
Really cool version.

One of the old band, they started in 1964 and still rock it :)

It's one of my favourite tracks. It just builds and builds into an epic crescendo.

I was pleasantly surprised by his superbowl half time show in 2020?? Or was it 21? Really really entertaining.

It was 2021 to which he headlined and delivered an awesome set
reply
That was it. Wasn't he running about backstage lost in mirror maze like the music video, and then turned up at the top of the stadium. If I remember right, he had a really different stage set up, wasn't it built into the end of the stadium or something like that?

The Beatles - Lady Madonna

One of my fave Beatles tracks. Some people really don't like this one for some reason but I think it's one of their best.
reply
Love em or hate them, you can't deny the impact they've had and what legacy they left on the music industry. Not one of their tracks I was familiar with, but I see what you're saying about it being not their usual thing which is probably why people didn't like it. But honestly the "see how they run" bit was a cool section of vocals from (I'm guessing) Paul and John? Really cool vocal lines.
reply
I've always loved the piano beat in this song it has a great rhythm to it. You can just tell this was one of Paul's compositions. Yeah, the "see how they run" is very cool
reply
I'm a simple being, and sometimes the little things artists add like a harmonised little vocal run. Just make me happy.

That sounds fantastic 😍😍 I love string quartets. Who are these girls and why is this the first time I'm hearing of it. This is great. Amazing share, thanks for dropping it here!

Amadeus! Yup 🔥

Steve Miller Band - Abracadabra Jerry's vintage tune of the day, Steve Miller Band's The Joker, reminded me of the first time I heard them as wee lad. This song was played on near constant repeat on the radio back in '82.

That's 3 mentions of SMB in 2 days... Are we starting a movement?

Let's get it roll 👊 really cool track and one I wasn't familiar with before. I'll have to take a deeper look at the soup dragons. Super funky.

Yesterday I learned that the Beatles did not play any instruments on the recording of Eleanor Rigby. I should have known this as it is all strings but never gave it any thought until I was presented with this factoid.
Such a great song.

Not a fact I'd have thought to find out. Great shout GR.

Who ever brought apes into this Music video won it for me
