That goes way back! Reminds me of the Yardbirds. There was such a big change to music in that era, that even that old band - with Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, AND Jimmy Page - wasn't in form recognizable to their later years. Not terrible music, but seems to me from here that the world just hadn't hit its paradigm shift yet, so at my age, like cowboy movies, it seems pre-modern to me.
