The vibecession-left likes to deny where the world is getting better.
One of the small things that nobody ever believes me is how cockroaches where everywhere back then, in schools, in hallways, stairwells, offices, bathrooms, kitchens and suddenly died out in a few short years. And the Search-engine podcast made an episode about it. Fcking finally. I’m not the only one who remembers this.
Where did all the roaches go?
Humans have a natural bias to think the world is going downhill. Curiously, almost every puts the date of the world decling in their early childhood. No matter if you're 80 years old or 20. It's a scapegoat for people who put feelings over facts. The world is getting better and capitalism keeps winning and winning and winning.
