Its two main important features to start, according to the article:
- you can't receive (no easy way to avoid bad privacy)
- each channel will be opened from a new node
Upon first glance, it sounds nonsensical that removing features is actually an enhancement but I think it genuinely is in this case - which is really cool! Feels like the iPhone removing the keyboard almost.
Each channel being opened from a new node is novel, but I wonder if there are any tradeoffs made wrt routing. I'd guess that with ldk you can plug and play pathfinding, so perhaps it's not a stretch to imagine there being no tradeoffs ... I wonder if MPP or AMP is possible with this. @futurepaul?
