I tried to deposit a bunch of 20s into a Wells Fargo checking account.
The teller said she could not accept them as a deposit since they were altered.
Every one of the 20s had been stamped with a red circle, about the size of a quarter, right on the dead president's head. Inside of that circle was, "BUY BITCOIN".
I shrugged off her denial, got the 20s back, stopped at the ATM on the way out and did a cash deposit that way. The ATM accepted all of the stamped 20s. Problem solved.
