Today I went to a public hospital and saw a sign that said: "in this hospital we support breastfeeding, pacifiers and bottles are prohibited." It is excellent that they support breastfeeding and educate future mothers about its benefits and debunk myths about it, but I found it curious and violent that they prohibit the use of bottles within their facilities, although it is true that breastfeeding is the option main way to feed a baby, but it does not make it the only one, there is very good formula milk for babies, in addition to the fact that a mother is the one who should have the power to decide whether to breastfeed or not, whether for work or simply because he doesn't feel comfortable.
