Germany faces a concerning trend as housing construction permits plummeted in 2023, according to the latest data from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). With only 260,100 units approved, representing a significant drop of 26.6% compared to the previous year.
It will be interesting to see whether the commie government will drop the overregulation of construction and climate nonsense in the face of hundreds of thousands of new emigrants in the country.

Too many rules can stifle progress. The decrease in housing permits might be a result of too much government intervention. Let people build and create without unnecessary restrictions, and we might see positive changes.

only the German construction industry has over 35,000 regulations. it can't work like that, especially not if you add moronic climate targets on top of that.
