JOAT success requires finding good fit, in my experience. You want to go somewhere where they value you as you, vs as a shittier version of whatever thing they thought they hired. Fit is important for all jobs, but esp so in this case.
Yes, my sensation is that nobody is hiring a jack but many jobs end up needing them.
