Looks like they released some pretty revealing email exchanges between Elon and the OpenAI crew.
Looks bad for Elon tbh, he's been crying about keeping OpenAI open source but seemed to have been campaigning for it to go closed as a part of Tesla (even if for reportedly altruistic reasons).

The people will still look at him as this hero Tony stark character...idk for me slay your heroes..

I'm a huge Elon fan but everyone has their warts.

Elon is the Kim Kardashian or tech

So, it concludes why Elin is so successful. He is an entrepreneur with a cheat-sheet mentality.
Doesn't it hold true for all hypocrite entrepreneurs? I had never imagined Elon to be the hero, instead I always admired him for his marketing strategy. He might be rich, but his drive to be richer and being associated with anything that might interest humanity cause are all full of dramatic notion of becoming hero. But, as he thinks he alone serves humanity, he is a pretender with a gold medal in finest quality of acting.

For example, Albania is using OpenAI’s tools to accelerate its EU accession by as much as 5.5 years

How the fuck do you say things like this with a straight face ?

Clowns

Waiting for the 'AI' bubble of bullshit to pop and we can go back to ignoring these miserable misanthropes

This is like Aliens vs Predator, except neither side is as worthy of admiration as the ones in the movies.

My guess would be Larry Page (given their prior spat over being speciesist) or Demis Hassabis over at DeepMind who apparently is so impressive he gives people T2 vibes.

Hassabis makes you wonder what other child chess prodigies might have accomplished with their brain power if they weren't so singularly focused on mastering a board game.

Interesting that Ilya seems to have disappeared and yet he signed the Elon letter. Then you have people like @OfficialLoganK on twitter who just left OpenAI tweeting "I miss
@ilyasut". Seems like a lot of drama behind the scenes.

I wish he did more talks. I find him so much more compelling to listen to than Altman, who just seems super awkward.

Yup watched that same amazing interview then went into a rabbit hole looking for more content from him which is scarce unfortunately.
