I didn't particularly want to reopen this irritating discussion, but gender dysphoria (trans identification) is a recognized illness in the DSM-5. The fact that it is considered an illness is what allows the state to use the Americans with Disabilities Act on behalf of trans people.
To my knowledge, belief in god and transphobia are not officially recognized mental disorders.
yes thanks for the clarification. i personally only participate in this short discourse out of sheer joy. because it's so easy to trigger those afflicted by it

Not true. At all. It's the non discrimination act which makes it illegal to discriminated against members of the LGBTQIA community in the workplace and by housing authorities/landlords.
And believing in God should be considered a mental illness.
