Ingredients:
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
  3. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoons to drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
  9. Remove from oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Enjoy your freshly baked cookies!
