I had a different poll planned with more options (accidently posted a draft the other day and deleted it, my first delete ever)1 but as I was browsing the Disclosure Diaries site I found their "Four Viable Explanations" for UAP.
I want to try to find as many edge cases as possible before posting a more in depth poll, so I thought this was a good enough place to start.
A. Systematic Error This category suggests that observations of UAPs are the result of consistent mistakes made by human observers/sensor installations, such as pilots and radar operators. These mistakes lead to the perception of objects that aren't actually present.
B. Systematic Deception This category involves the idea that there is a coordinated effort to deceive others into believing in the existence of UAPs with unusual performance characteristics. Motives for such deception can vary, but one aim could be to create a perception of anomalous technology that your adversaries now have to spend resources to look into.
C. Real Human Secret Technology This category proposes that UAPs are genuine physical objects, but they are EXCLUSIVELY products of advanced secret human technology. These technologies are being withheld for strategic and geopolitical reasons.
D. Real Non-Human Technology This category suggests that UAPs are the result of EXCLUSIVELY technological creations that originate from sources other than humans. This could involve extraterrestrial or non-human intelligence.
E. Both C and D Pick this if you think UFOs are a mix of man-made crafts AND non-human intelligence (either nuts-and-bolts alien crafts or immaterial beings, angels, demons etc.).
F. Interested but undecided My interest in the topic is not 0%, but I haven't had enough time to a formulate an opinion on the matter yet.
G. No interest at all. Muted this territory a long time ago, you're wasting your sats cowboy.
H. My viewpoint is not represented on this poll. Obviously there's more options, comment below yours and I will try to make the next poll better.

I would have said "a combination of A and B" if that were available. It's well documented that some amount of systemic deception has occurred, but I doubt it accounts for the majority of this phenomenon.
I think the bulk of instances are most likely to be observational errors of various sorts.
Look forward to the follow up post.

Yep, I'll need to refine the question and provide some more context.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I would obviously be choosing "A, B, C, and D."
Trying to get the branches right on this decision tree.
