With BTC fiat price hitting all time highs across the globe, for the hodlers it's a nice feeling especially since most of us knew all of this in time was and is inevitable. But for the rest of the world, specifically in the US and in Japan since I have family and friends in both countries, BTC is rapidly reaching prices that will prevent most from acquiring any sort of substantial amount of sats. The fiat realm is starting to sink fast, and there aren't many spots left on the Bitcoin lifeboat.
Which got me thinking, what I would do if I just started considering stacking sats today at these prices and was looking into bitcoin to keep me from sinking.
Honestly, yes there's still some time to stack sats by buying off exchanges, but I also think people who are no coiners or don't have that big of a stack should start shifting their focus towards looking to earn sats and working on creating value within the open network and ecosystem of Bitcoin. The fiat world is one that treats true value like absolute crap, whereas the Bitcoin world will give attention and show appreciation to those who truly want to better the world and provide actual, long lasting value.
And thing is, early adopters and even those who stack today off exchanges are extremely priviledged in that we can turn the turd that is fiat into the best money we have ever been in the presence of. But as these days of priviledge quickly go away, we will progress into the natural way in which we accumulate money and that is by earning it in exchange for providing the world with something of value.
Stackernews is one of those Bitcoin powered communities that gives one the opportunity to start earning some sats in exchange for content that others find valuable. Possibly the best and most underrated place to potentially earn a meaningful amount of sats while also serving as a great learning environment!

I'm sorry, but you're wrong here. Because

True true Long lasting value indeed.

1 sat > 1 USD give it time and you will see

Value is relative and I think it's pretty cheap right now. If fiat is manufactured without limit, Bitcoin will eventually approach infinity. Ultimately this measurement is meaningless, it still depends on how much a piece of bread is worth in Bitcoin.

With prices at current levels, retail won't see Bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme anymore, it's simply "too expensive". This is what retail thinks imo.
They'll have to learn that it's a question of wealth preservation/savings iso speculation/investment.

100% agree!

What the fuck is with the entitlement? Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme, bitcoin is freedom money that will give everybody a fair chance to save wealth.
And thing is, early adopters and even those who stack today off exchanges are extremely priviledged
Oh, yes, we're so privileged! It's not like we made any choices or took risks with out money, we're lucky and privileged! We're privileged when the price pumps and dumb when it crashes!

Maybe my wording was misinterpreted and it would seem the word "priviledge" was not the best word to get my point across. I completely agree that Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme and I never made such a point in the first place. I also agree that bitcoin is freedom money and will help humanity progress forward as well as it gives everyone a fair chance at saving wealth. What I was trying to express was that, the time in which average plebs like ourselves can stack a life changing amount of sats by converting fiat to bitcoin is quickly running out but there are also other ways such as using stackernews to start earning btc not just buying it.
Again, probably my mistake of using the word priviledge especially since it seems to be a heavily triggering word nowadays, but priviledge doesn't always have to be so negative in usage in my opinion, as in using it when you say things like, "It was a priviledge to be able to meet you," or something along those lines. Yes, "everyone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve" I mostly agree with this meme too, and I'm not here judging those who took a risk and adopted early because I would consider myself not extremely early but on the earlier side. Nor am I calling stackers "priviledged" in the way the modern world has come to recognize the word as in "white priviledge" or all that jazz. I'm simply trying to express that we are all lucky in that we can still convert trash fiat for btc because such times will not last forever.
Hope this clarifies a bit of the point I was trying to make.

Lol, you don't like my comment and now you insinuate I'm "triggered"? Come on..

Hey, if you want to think of yourself as being "lucky", go ahead. I'm not here because of luck but because of the choices I made and keep making.

I actually appreciate your perspective to be honest. But if you took it that way all good too!
I also believe in controlling the controllables and having accountability and sovereignty over my own choices and I am here because of all the choices I have made as are you, but would you not agree that we are lucky in the sense that we are alive during the time that Bitcoin exists?

I think you'd probably do better in life if you learned to own the things you say.

I appreciate your advice, thank you!
