Although I've always had this intuition that its all fake Bitcoin was the real watershed. I remember stacking old silver coins that were worth way more than their denomination, getting the tip from old drunkards that this was the case, they used to pay the grocery shop I worked at when I was 18 with those when they were real desperate, so I kept those to myself ;-)

Then around a decade later I ended up having to do the same for food at Christmas... Took me 2020 to start recalling that memory!

YOLOing quite hard into Bitcoin in 2020 was not too hard, by then I knew it was the solution, but that was not the watershed moment.

For me the first time ever I earned real money was when I got a zap on Nostr for sharing a fake video of a guy riding an ostrich in traffic in Kazakhstan!!

Yeah, I'm more than half a century old, and that was the first actual payment I got in completely incorruptible, real money hahaha

What a weird & wonderful world, I won't even contemplate how it would have been without Bitcoin, mental self harm is not a good thing ;-)
