By 2022, 1.1% of the world’s adults were millionaires, up from 0.6% in 2012. That is crazy as it almost doubled! So, how to know if you belong to the top 1% in your country? See the chart above.

It makes sense that European hubs top the list, with small countries like Monaco or Luxembourg having extremely high wealth barriers to joining the top 1%.

I also believe Bitcoin will play a role in this in the future and would be an interesting overlay, but that would require people to DOX which isn’t likely. Ultimately I believe Bitcoiners will be a large portion of the top 1% globally. Looking at true wealth, not fiat wealth! If I’m bullish when wealth is denominated in sats, we’ll all be the top .01%.
