Thing to learn from them? They aren't looking at this list until they are on it.
I would challenge that. I’m sure many of them have this as a goal. Some are driven to be the best in their field and in business to win it comes down to the bottom line of fiat profit.

Hard to say, who really knows? Buffet is driven by increasing wealth and lives modestly. Here is the Gates path. Hard to guess his true intentions as he has some questionable personal life decisions as many on the list do.
