Hi everyone - Where are you at with Bitcoin inheritance planning? Family, friends, organization? If this thing does what we think. Many of us if not all will have enough for legacy funds.
Personally I have my large stack in a multi-sig vault with Unchained Capital. I need to update the instructions for my wife in our safe(s). I believe thy had a product/process as well.
What other resources are out there? What is your plan? how can we help each other here?
@siggy47 @grayruby and I started this chat on a poll I created so I thought it would be good to have a full thread here!

Has anyone considered those time lock methods?
I am interested in time lock.
It's pretty interesting. I was planning on the old backyard treasure map.

As an aside, I have often thought it would be a lot of fun to do a seed phrase treasure hunt in my community treasure map style. Hide 12 words in different locations and see who finds them all and unlocks the wallet first.
It's like Dragonball, but instead of finding 7 balls, you find 12 words to make your wish come true.
That is an awesome idea! A fun way for people to get in on the fun!
Honestly, besides general single sig cold storage I don't have too much of a plan, although, I need to start planning a lot more. Would love to learn though!
Do you like the multi sig setup with Unchained?
I love having it, I work in IT as a scrum master so I do have some technical chops, but it was a bit intimidating doing it all on my own so Unchained did a great job helping with set up and any ongoing questions and issues. I heard they are going to add a yearly fee now, so I'll have to assess that, but they are bitcoin only and know what they are doing in the space!
Very nice! May look into it, thanks so much!
You bet. I used a discount code from The Investors Podcast for the initial set up and they may still take that so let me know.
Just a piece of advice, the second person who knows the seed should be able to transfer the funds. In case of need, it is not advisable for this person to ask for help from third parties, because you never know who you can trust.
Great idea. Thanks for the initial resources and looking forward to seeing what stackers have to say in the comments.
Great idea and thanks for the sat split. Let's see what we can find.
I was all set with a 9 of 11 multisig plan until the damn boat sank
Yeah my plan still needs some work. Multi sig is still best for my wife or other inheritance individuals
Thanks for the sat split!
Good post 😘
