I am very surprised there are that many $2 bills in circulation.
That's what I noticed, too. In my experience, most people seem to think they're fake.

There are no 1 or 2 euro bills, the smallest is 5 euro bill. Do you know why there are 1 and 2 dollar bills? Is it cheaper to make notes than coins?

The $2 bill is very rare. I believe it's just a mandate to the treasury to maintain that set of bills in circulation. There have been several attempts to get $1 coins to catch on and they just don't.
I know the treasury takes losses when it mints pennies and nickels, but I'm not sure about dollar bills.

You can order it through local bank branches. Usually a stack of 200. They are popular with the freedom/gun crowd (2nd Amendment)(2A) and feature Thomas Jefferson.

Yeah, my grandpa loved them. He also loved the $3 bills with Clinton on them, although those are not widely accepted as legal tender.
