On this occasion, I want to share with you another studio photo session that I did as part of my constant search to perfect my skills in this exciting photography style.
I confess with complete honesty that I am a newbie to the world of studio photography, and I am in the stage of learning and experimenting with the various lighting schemes, so constant practice becomes essential.
I had the honor of capturing these images for a friend's mother, as a tribute to International Women's Day, celebrated last March 8. And what better way to commemorate this important date than by photographing my friends' mother.
The model wore an elegant black dress that highlighted the curves of her body, creating a contrast with the gray background. Since she is not a professional model, I dedicated myself to guiding her in each pose during the session. These practices have also allowed me to develop my ability to direct the models and create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration in the photo sessions.
As for the technical part, I used a lighting scheme composed of three lights:
A flash as the main light, located 45 degrees from the model.
An LED panel as secondary light, with the aim of softening shadows and creating more natural lighting.
A LED panel in the back to separate the model from the background and generate greater depth in the image.
I feel that in these photos we managed to capture the essence and beauty of the woman, and both the model and I were satisfied with the final result.
I hope you enjoy them as much as me!
