I'm going to be in an all-day retreat at work today and tomorrow. That means no SN (which I've rapidly become hooked on), but also no stacking in general, no reading articles, no nothing.
To be clear, my job is great. I make enough in fiat to cover needs and stack on the side, I can mostly WFH, I rarely have to come in to the office, I have a ton of flexibility, I genuinely like my co-workers, and I can get work done and also get all the side stuff done -- not just stacking, but just ingesting tons of information in general, and also being around for any family needs. Short of true financial independence (which I'm working towards), it's about as good as a job for fiat can get.
I have maybe six days a year when I can't do this. It's a tiny price to pay all things considered. But my whinging instinct hits hard on those six days, and I need to remind myself that this is the trade-off.
Thanks for the space to vent. See folks tonight.
no SN or just no SN during the day? because no SN means you'll lose your hat.

Just during the day. Will try to make up for it this evening.
