Yes I have noticed a difference. 25 push ups in one set became too easy which is why I switched to 50. I can complete 50 without too much trouble but definitely need to fight through the last few, so I think it is a good switch.
As we all get stronger, maybe 150 till 150k could be a thing.

This is part of my thinking in converting to sets of 50. I can just add an extra set when we hit 100k and switch the goal.
