Brings back memories...Panajachel and those small villages across the lake - San Pedro la Laguna, Santiago... Guatemala has much beauty and a long history of extreme right wing fascism. I am hopeful they can follow El Salvador's example and begin to emerge from poverty and violence directed at the indigenous population and move towards better human rights and economic stability. Bitcoin can certainly help with the latter.
