It's not over. The remote work genie is out of the bottle now and is not going back in.

Of course, a severe recession would give employers the upper hand with new hires, but existing staff are not going back in. At least not for a good chunk of the roles. And when those new hires who prefer to work remotely find a different job that allows for that, that's what they'll be doing.
