No, I don't believe that's an alternative. In fact that's plant based. In modern era they can't sell you the product if they don't sell you the idea.
I agree with that part about selling ideas. Do you believe there are any quality alternatives for people who don't feel like eating animals?

Definitely, Some whole foods, such as beans, lentils, chickpeas, and mushrooms, contain protein or have a meaty texture and can work well as meat substitutes.
