Owning a gun isn't evil Owning a slingshot isn't evil Owning a sword isn't evil Owning a fist isn't evil

But but, the government will protect me from bad people right??
reply
For those who focus on the word 'evil', I have deliberately chosen it to emphasize the fact that libertarians are not crazy gun nuts as we are often portrayed.
We understand very well the implications of firearms and the individuals who may wield them. However, at the same time, we are also realistic.
We are well-versed in the ways of the world and history, and we objectively and rationally comprehend that firearms were, are, and always will be necessary. And so is the people right to own them.
reply
Necessary right not evil.
People are evil not objects.
Some people are evil. We need to protect ourselves from potential harm
