I get why Europe's doing it. Strategically, it makes no sense for the US to follow. We have some of the biggest hydrocarbon reserves in the world. Unless the point was to create a huge new source of demand for our coal, but I'm pretty sure that's not what they're doing.
Europe needs them all as equal players at the same table, introduce the cbdc spy coin, control capital flight and yield spreads and the party can go on
