Yes, they stopped raising grocery prices and instead just shrunk and reduced the quality of everything. Everyone is aware of shrinkflation but have you noticed a quality reduction in the regular things you buy? Not everything but there have been a few times over the last couple months were I ate or used a product I am very familiar with and said "this is not the same".

yeah i think you’re right, i’ve actually moved about half my grocery spending to direct purchases from farmers so don’t have to deal with all of the quality declines in meat and vegetables

That's a good strategy. Healthier, better quality and helps the local farmer.
