Well, in this case, I'd say half is way more than fair!
But yeah, I hate studies getting presented/discussed in the news before publication. There are too many reasons a study might not get published, but the impact of the news cycle remains.

Better than nothing, but i hate when they do that. Sometimes, the actual study never gets published.
It's like giving people only half of what they are promised ;)
