That's a beautiful trendline.
I think a better description is something like "30 years ago 1/3 people lived in extreme poverty, today less than 1/10".

I believe that more than this number are only living in South Asia. Mostly in Pakistan, Afganistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Could be. Still, $2.15 is ridiculously low. It’s like what families including working children earned per day in the US 100, 150 years ago.
