Yunohost server distro is so underrated, it's very very easy to set it up. A debian bare metal OS with so many apps available, very light to run on raspberry pi's and it works very well even with email as long as you have a fixed IP, but also dynamic as long as your ISP gives you reverse-DNS. Plus it already has amazing apps like simplex relay, tor bridge relay, nextcloud, xmpp, matrix and so much more. I would say it's a good idea even to small companies like 10 to 200 employees.
