The obligatory: "creeper, aw man" - let's see who here is young enough to know this classic 2011 Minecraft parody. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPJUBQd-PNM
And here's another fun one for you to enjoy (I just can't help myself from posting two) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2rDbRUDkds

Time to dust off the old machine and load it up to build a fortress I'm never going to use again or even log into once it's completed.
šŸ¤£šŸ¤£. I remember this parody getting released.
reply
That's the spirit, it's the journey not the destination šŸ¤£ (or so I've been told)
reply
Once upon a time I (although am no where near as good as some creators) sorta replicated the dwarven kingdom of Erabor.
Also know as I hollowed out a mountain and built a fortress within a mountain. That was probably my most fun one.
The whole time doing it I had Windrose playing... (Yes this was fairly recently on a nostalgia trip).
If you don't know Windrose, check these.
And this versions fun too.

This is a sure bet for the Eurovision, operatic norsk rock, love it

I'm surprised they haven't already made an appearance on Eurovision yet.

Darius Rucker - Alright

Cracking tracks from Darius, who'd have thought Hootie would become a country star. Amazing voice, thankful he made the shift over to the country side

Darius Rucker - This

reply
Now I hear him in country I ask my self why he didn't make this move sooner.
Really fits brilliantly. Great track šŸ‘Š
reply
yeah he has such a chilled out, relaxed way about his country style, like he's hardly making any effort.
reply
Cool šŸ˜Ž Another country lover!

The Main Squeeze - "Payday"
Gonna be a good day :D
reply
Payday is the best day.
His voice is fantastic šŸ¤©. Smooth like butter.
Great track šŸ‘Š

The Rolling Stones - She's A Rainbow
100 boost šŸ‘Š

This was used during the first episode of the TV show Legion (one of the best and weirdest shows I've seen), and it was the perfect choice. One of their more underappreciated songs.
reply
Was that the one with Anthony Head as some kinda angel? I have a vague recollection of some weird show called legion that was about angels Vs demons and humans being caught up in it all.
reply
That was Dominion, which was based on a movie called Legion, but was a different thing. This one has Dan Stevens (so again a British actor playing with an American accent), and is technically based on an X-Men comic.
reply
Ahhhh ok.
Why ask Google when you can ask stillstackin? šŸ¤£ Cheers for clarifying šŸ‘Š
reply
:-)
Well, in this case I may be faster than Google, but I definitely have some gaps in my knowledge!
reply
Ahhh the rolling stones. They give you very different feeling good vibes šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ but I can't be sure how or why šŸ¤” perhaps there was just something in the air šŸ¤£
reply
I'm struggling to find the perfect English translation for this šŸ¤£ We call this 'maresia'! The literal translation 'aea breeze' šŸ¤£
reply
Ah... I was thinking marijuana šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ at least that's what I associate that 60s/70s rolling stones stuff with.
reply
Very fun punk cover
reply
šŸ¤£ that was fun.
Proper punk vibes. Great submission šŸ‘Š

I feel nice like sugar and spice.

What a legend. James Brown'll make you jump up and dance for sure!

Keith Urban - Feel good songs

I haven't listened to Keith for while. He's often my go-to for feel good vibes. I couldn't decide between these two so, as usual, I'm posting both!
First up - Long Hot Summer from the Get Closer Album Long Hot Summer was co written with Richard Marx
Next up: Gonna B Good from the Fuse Album Fuse is such a great feel good album. It's just one great track after another!
I love both of these albums. Totally recommend a look if you're looking for happy vibes to go into the weekend with.
reply
I've got to agree, this is his best album since Days Go By and Golden Road, he just nails those country rock songs that he strayed away from in the albums in between. Long Hot Summer has great "The Police" / Andy Summers feel to the guitar playing. Top choices
reply
Yeah I can never have enough of old school "Country Keith" šŸ¤©
reply
I was country before country was cool šŸ˜†
reply
I do love some country. Here's a few of my favourites.
reply
Whoa, now the party is getting started, lets have some more Luke
reply
Haha I just refreshed and saw you'd posted this! šŸ˜‚

Having a hell raising good time!

You've gone full-on country here NME! Are we gonna have a "country day"?
I love the bit where Jake Owen says "the girls are always hot and the beer is ice cold" and he punches his hands in the air as if to say - what else is there to life?
Love a bit of Luke Bryan. Knockin Boots has to be my fave after hearing it on the radio one day on the way home. The first comment on the Youtube vid always makes me laugh - "My neighbors love this song so much they threw a brick through my window to hear it better" šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
reply
Yeeeee-Haaaaaw!
Unsure how I'd do a country day specifically šŸ¤” and even the themed stuff I like to keep open so that everyone of all tastes can participate.
But I do indeed love some country.
reply
Urban definitely brings an uplifting feel with these specific tracks.
It's hard to talk about summer for example, without having a light and airy and positive feel to the song. He nails it there and in gonna be good.
Great submissions šŸ‘Š

Hip-Hop isn't something I know a great deal about, so I'm glad to have these kinda of submissions. Helps me find avenues into genres I wouldn't have otherwise explored.
Cheers for the submission, really cool track šŸ‘Š

"video unavailable"šŸ˜ž what is it supposed to be and I can go and look it up?

Love a good "man, these lyrics would be a downer if the song wasn't so upbeat" song, and "Sad Tomorrow" by The Muffs (a punk band who should have been bigger -- their big moment was probably the "Kids in America" cover on the Clueless soundtrack) is so damned good. Makes me bop in my seat whenever I listen to it.
reply
I didn't realise the "kids in America" cover was them.. but I immediately recognised the voice.
Great submission šŸ‘Š like you said it's got down lyrics with upbeat sounds, a funny dichotomy.

The band released their debut studio album, Caravan Palace, on the Wagram label in October 2008. The record charted in Switzerland, Belgium, and France, where it reached a peak position of number 11

I really loved those 1920s swing sounds in this track. Really cool fusion where you wouldn't expect to find it. Swing mixed with electronic music.
Really cool. I enjoyed it. Cheers for the submission Roll it was great šŸ‘Š
