Chavez was a great manipulator and knew how to reach the people of the neighborhoods (low-income) who evidently were and are the majority... That was what established his power with such force that after his death they continue to idolize him. He immersed Venezuela in a celebration of prosperity and royalties for all, just like his motto, of the socialist homeland. Obviously the plugged in and everyone who revolved around the dome obtained benefits from said party. They didn't leave the common people aside, they also had their party. Translated into bonuses, credits, scholarships, subsidies and all kinds of aid, which made him the new messiah. And the majority of the ignorant people (people of low resources and with no monetary or economic understanding) saw all this as works of great humanity, and they saw Chavez as a Savior and not as the Tyrant that he actually was. That did nothing more than lead a prosperous country to bankruptcy and deterioration, Venezuela went from being one of the main economies in Latin America, to now being one of the poorest and most devastated... Deterioration to such magnitude that it was its turn most of his patients had to leave, which has caused more chaos. Well, not only the good Venezuelan came out, the one who wants to work, study and grow healthily and productively. But the Venezuelans who do not want anyone in their land also came out, the children of Chavez, those raised in the regime who are nothing more than a string of evil living and parasites, who do not contribute and only generate chaos and unrest wherever they go. step Another great socialist achievement is to degrade the level of ordinary Venezuelans. And the most unfortunate thing is that this whole problem is something with which we will have to spend decades until we can see any change.
