Krugman isn't really much better than people the left demonize at this point. He's more or less a Tucker Carlson on the left.

I'd characterize him more as the grand champion of the fiat system. I suppose that happens to mean he's "left" -- but the dude just loves money printers, IMO 😂

Krugman isn't an honest actor. Tom Woods(Austrian Historian) and Bob Murphy (Austrian economist) made a podcast for several years laughing at Paul's obvious dishonesty and transparent misrepresentations he makes in his weekly journal. They basically got tired of doing it and couldn't get enjoyment out of it after they realized they had pummeled that horse so long and so badly that their beatings of its sun bleached bones made him sound like a xylophone. If you're interested in their review of his repeated misrepresentations of recent historical events look for the Contra-Krugman show. Their repeated account every week was "If you want to refute Krugman's claims, just click on the links in his articles." Almost every time the link to an article implied strong evidence for Krugman's claims, and every time they turn out to mean the exact opposite of what Krugman implied. It was uncanny. At this point if I hear the name Krugman, I react the same as if I were to be forced to glance at CNN for a moment in the airport only to see the weather report.
