For a change I decided to watch the display from further a field and from across the bay for our local firework display.
This was a 20 second long exposure, f11, iso125 with the ND filter on.
It wasn't until later upon viewing the image that I realised that there were people standing on rocks below me silhouetted against the water. Unplanned but turned in to a nice feature. Especially as the person on the left is striking a very cool pose.

Fireworks can be a huge challenge! If you love them, an a News Years trip to Nashville. It has the largest fireworks show I nyhe U.S. each year. But everyone knows about the larger cities like NY and DC, etc. Come to Tennessee!
They certainly are challenging. This is my first time with just a tripod rather than hand held and normally very close to the action.
Fireworks and the home of country music, now that would be worth travelling there for.
