i would say we should have thought about that earlier, how systems get used against us from the ones who want to control us - and we should have built a different system. Now we have a surveillance nightmare.

I come from a time when we thought that we are kinda anonymous on the usenet/internet. I see much similar thinking from bitcoiners now. We know how it ended with the internet - so we should fix shit while it is still fixable.
