We're not there yet. Lots of hype, and limited results at the moment. Quantum supremacy will take another few years I expect. And quantum-resistant algorithms do exist.
What information your statement is based on?

Discussions with colleagues who work in the field. Of course, it's subjective, and breakthroughs might come unexpectedly. The consensus in the scientific community is that there is no quantum supremacy yet, the ones who claimed they did had mercantile motivations to do so.
I'll come back later for literature on the quantum resistant algorithms.
