Context: Firefox on Android user.

SN is a website, it doesn't need to impersonate an app. And it performs really well on mobile.

Twice now I have hit the generic post button whilst attempting to post a reply.

Button bar links miss fire and execute links below them.

I miss have the SN logo in the top left, when logos and homepage shortcuts always exist. Typically the middle icon is an core action. Linking to the homepage barely resembles an action IMO.

I have the stock avatar, I don't need to see it in the bottom left. Generally speaking this is a weird position to have my avatar.

I don't need a floating bar, scrolling to the top for core actions is not an issue. And it chews up pixel real estate.

I liked how both HN and SN were not trying to impersonate apps, but mobile functioned really well on mobile.

I suggest reconsidering the bottom bar.
