Mint is known as Babri in Nepal and pudina in India, which is a perennial herb grown in all parts of the world and extensively used in many cultures. Mint leaves and springs are eaten fresh or in a form of chutney mixing some other ingredients like tomato , garlic, onion, chillies etc.

Babari or Mint is well known for its ability to reduce the severity of irritable bowel syndrome by relieving symptoms of gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort and diarrhea or constipation as well.

Have you guys eaten like this?

I have a student with irritable bowel syndrome. How do you suggest that his parents use mint in their dishes?

Mint contains menthol that paralyze pain receptors and relax the muscles in our intestine. Mint can be served as juice or as tea. There are lots of mint oil product available nowadays. Putting fresh mint leaves in a cup of hot water and serve as tea is the best idea.
