Will Stacker News ever set up some transparency process to proof live that the actual bitcoin from users exists and is being properly held? How could that look like?
Not that I thing a rug-pull is on the plans, I'm just thinking out load. As more and more services like SN take custody of users funds, do you picture a future in which it is standard practice (or even required by law) to proof that the company holds the bitcoin under custody?
Definitely down to do this if it's easy and makes sense.
Ideally, users wouldn't be holding more than 1-25k sats on here at a time, unless they're hosting a job or something, but it'd still be cool to be extra transparent.

If you mean to see the total fund that the SN node has, at the bottom you have the url to open channels to the node.
If you don't want to search here you have the direct link.

I'm not aware of any way to prove funds held in a LN channel.
You could open a large channel to SN node and probe all their channels to "verify" for yourself.
