pull down to refresh

Located in Kyushu, the southernmost part of Japan, Yufuin is usually jostled with Chinese and Korean tourists. But despite the crowds, you can still find respite on the shopping street lined with interesting shops selling local delicacies and souvenirs. My wife and I went for a foot bath (free of charge), watched onsen eggs get heated up in fresh waters, prayed at a local shrine, enjoyed a relaxing meal, and soaked in the spectacular mountainous scenery all around us. Plenty of things to do, enough tranquility to do them all. I thought it offered the best of nature and civilisation and will visit again in a heartbeat.

Japan sits pretty much at the top of my travel bucket list. Everything looks so organized and well thought out. There is so much to this mentality that I really want to immerse myself in one day.

Thanks for forwarding some sats!

Happy Easter :)
