occupy peoples attention
make a certain amount of the population look like they’re crazy
something like that
but I do not really spend too much time thinking about it nor analysing it
its a time sink

Isn't any researched belief a time sink in one way or another?

It would be an odd psy op to make certain people look crazy without any specific benefit in mind. Gaslighting, for instance, has the benefit of making the person in question look crazy, and so then they aren't believed. Q posts offer evidence trails to verify the belief in question. That's also very odd....

yes, thats why we need to triage how deep we go into whatever rabbithole and to what purpose it serves to oneself

benefit could be to make trump supporters look like crazy people, the use it in sound bits in the newscycle, i believe a lot of this was happening in the last us election cycle, but the details are hazy now

Well, in relation to the Clintons and Obamas who are seemingly never made to look crazy, and the media which pretty much hates Trump, does it make more sense that the crazy people are running the asylum or that the people seeing the crazy are crazy?

its all crazy shit

conspiracies exist, but it doesnt help if people get caught up with fake conspiracy LARPs, if that was one, and it seems like it may have been

There is a labyrinth. And there is a thread. The only question is whether it leads out or to a Minotaur. Everybody has to decide which is which on their own. Of course, by the time they find out...

indeed, I think for most, the solution is to build a world you believe in based on your values, and to guard against time theft of your attention

reply

The solution for most is to create a reality bubble. That can be quite dangerous, as when something does demand one's attention, one blocks it out or treats it flippantly.
