Why do you assume we don't believe that, let alone consider it?

The error a passerby makes is thinking that there is one community, there is one group of stackers, all current stackers are all stackers that have been and ever will be, that they know what people want based on what they say they want, an elaborate emotional opinion is deep truth, that they can mentally measure consensus without any measuring, and that consensus, even well measured, is as good as truth.
