Accusing good people of evil is a magic spell for bringing out the evil in them. Most of the extrinsic incentive for doing good is having people recognize it. When you accuse good people of evil (simply because it feels good to think you know something hidden) you're reducing the amount of good in the world. And all because you're an idiot.
