This is true.
And the state behaves like a deity that can speak and make things so. Millions are convinced of this false belief. This is the truth of fiat money. It is created by decree. But reality always comes back.

I've got a post in progress that's about the enormous amount of fiat advice kids are getting these days. It's not just states, I think our whole culture has rejected reality and substituted its own.
