I like to reward longevity on Sounds from the Great White North. It is not easy to be a touring Canadian band. The nation is large and the large metropolitan areas are limited and far apart.
So, any band that can manage to succeed as a touring Canadian band for 30 plus years deserves our respect. I can't think of a Canadian band that fits the bill of road warriors better than the Headstones.
They had some success in the 90s but have made their living out of just showing up and putting on a high energy, exciting show day in and day out.
Please enjoy.
