I took these photos (with permission) back in winter season. I was on a hike with my friend. Rain had just stopped and it was cold. These beautiful kids were selling some local apples on the roadside. They looked so innocent that i couldn't stop buying from them. Kids selling fruits on the roadside is usual in developing countries. This is how they make some extra money and help thier parents.

In my country and the place where I live in kids and elders alike sell mangoes and guavas on the roadside. I am d my brother always buy from them (at much higher prices) because my brother says it's charity with dignity. Because we buy them in large quantities we often have to donate them to poor kids and we always find them in government schools nearby.
reply
Yeah thats very kind of you and your brother. We also bought half of which they were selling and they looked happy.

It is true. I am getting back to hard work for myself these days. It feels good.

Best of luck. You will kiss the success soon :)

Were apples crispy?
reply
Yeah it was like that from outside. It was soft and mushy from inside.
reply
Cool. I like when an apple is crispy and jussy and has sour-sweet taste

It’s sad that they are not going to school to receive an education. You have a good heart.
reply
Yes. Even though schools offer free education these days, kids from poor families are forced to work instead of going to school. It's a very sad situation.
