Both Ark/Mecury (and there are other L2s) are mainly just prototypes at this point.
In reality BTC - LN - Liquid are best choices from a risk perspective.

For sure, you need to trust your mint. It's not a replacement for actual BTC.
Not too familiar with the middle ones other than LN, so can't comment much on the specific order you suggest here, but seems reasonable.
