Balaji's ideas about Network States are very interesting, and Bitcoiners should check it out. However, I think ultimately we should think more abstractly, in terms of "Network Power" in general. The specific goal of forming one of these quasi-state things is not nearly as important as simply using the tools at our disposal to network with each other for whatever random purpose we decide. Attend meetups and use bitcoin and cypherpunk tools to keep in touch and buy & sell privately. "Network Power" > "Network State."
Like a lot of Balaji's ideas, the Network State is interesting but feels out of touch with reality. The quasi-states remind me of these shitcoin Discord servers that everyone is invited to 🤣🤣
