Anyone who still doesn't want to admit that in our monetary system wars are generally used to feed the credit mechanism in times of crisis, or at the end of major credit cycles, should now look to Germany. There, the German defence minister Pistorius is calling for the so-called debt brake, which has constitutional limits in this country, to be relaxed. Over 100 billion euros have already been hidden in shadow budgets for the German army, but now they want to take on massive new debt for the benefit of armament and modernization of the army. So from the point of view of the credit market and the cycle, things are going really well.
