Wishing the Canucks well. Would be nice to see any Canadian team not named the Leafs make a run in the playoffs.

I used to be a Leafs fan but around 15 years ago I gave up on them and turned into a hater after I attended a game that cost me 500 for 2 tickets ( probably 500 for each ticket now) and they were losing 5-0 after the second period. I got up and left after the 2nd and never supported the Leafs again. I just thought people have to be absolutely stupid to pay this kind of money to support an organization that doesn’t care how bad the product is.

Oh man, you caught them when they were really bad, during that several year stretch in the late 2000s to early 2010s where they didn't really make the playoffs. Do you have a NHL team that you support now?
My first Canucks game was in 2011, when they were really good. It was against the Blue Jackets and the Canucks didn't really play well in that game. The game ended in 1-1, OT didn't settle things, so it went to a shootout. I think they shot 7 or 8 rounds each side. We ended up winning the game, and I think Raffi Torres had the game winning shootout goal. The place went absolutely crazy when Torres scored the goal, it was fun to experience.
